This is a song of gratitude, with a bit of a dark twist perhaps.
Ever feel like you've been really lucky? some people sometimes feel that they've pretty much "dodged a bullet".
Quite a lot of people have dodged them (so far) in the last 4 years.
Once again, it's also about medical freedom. One of my favourite subjects that I just can't stop going on about.

Based on a claim its contents they’d inoculate me

Can you believe just how lucky one human being could be
somehow it seems that I’ve survived to nearly half a century

They passed me by not even once one ever came to visit me

I barely ever have a sniffle, a common cold’s so rare for me.
I almost disbelieve my own good luck but it’s reality

Which you’ll remember was the height of safety, and efficacy.

But we were young and also old and we were crazy wild and free
we washed our hands - no more often than we had historically
Rejected those life-saving facemasks, breathed the air in muzzle free!
And all our friends and family, we always remained keen to see


We danced with death, like those TikTok nurses in 2020
But with no magic junk inside us, and no shred of PPE

There really must be someone up there, looking out for them and me
