About this song: as always, the lyrics will make it pretty clear what it's about.
It's my imagination of how global leaders (real movers and shakers - not puppets) might explain a phrase like "Building Back Better", if they were being completely honest.
Just my fanciful guess. Just a flight of fancy. What do I know?
lyrics
Verse 1
We’re done, with your illusions of freedom
Times come – when we just no longer need em
harsh truths, we don’t really need to conceal em,
we’re planning changes for you and you’re gonna feel em.
We pranked and punked you, totally freaked you out
If you had any balls, we cut them out
It’s just so funny, you still haven’t even worked it out
Cos lies and domination are what government’s about
You people have such short memories
Zero foresight, and blind trust in state hierarchies
Desperately keen to fit in and just eager to please, it’s a disease
We’re gonna keep you down on your knees
It’s been good to watch you muzzle-up, and hide and run
To watch you fall, for all the lies we’d spun.
If you’d just open your eyes, then you’d see what we’ve done
We’re set for lots more fun, now that we’re building back.
Chorus 1
Building Back Better…
Our PR slogan for your demise
We like to dangle things in front of your eyes,
Most of you are too dumbed down to even realise
(BUILDING BACK BETTER !
Thanks to every covid bedwetter
Verse 2
You think we save you from catastrophe
We engineer each opportunity
But you just gave us open access to inside your body
and we acquired so many pieces of cheap property
bribery tokens – we issued them to infinity
Part of our plan, to wreck the economy
Purchase power – its gonna fall like a tree
Coffin lid on your dead currency
We’ve got a new one waiting for you all you see
Digital only, for track and trace ability
We’ll be watching you, just oh so diligently
your conduct affects purchase – ability
With social credit, you’ll never think to disagree
With what we say, you’ll embrace your slavery
You’ll know your place, within the hierarchy –
under our boot, you’ll forget the meaning of free
Chorus 2
Building Back Better
We don’t make fake problems to let em go to waste –
And now we’ve- got-nearly-all the infrastructure in place
for the whole human race
Your western lifestyle it’s being replaced.
We’re telling you almost straight to your face
All your rights and freedoms are being erased.
You dismiss those who warn you – but it’s clearly the case
Building back,
building back,
building back,
building back,
building back Better!
Middle 8
We’re Building Back
We couldn’t make it more clear
We’re Building Back
We’re taking all control around here.
We’re Building Back
We’re taking you up the rear
We’re Building Back
A virus isn’t really the thing you should fear
Over your body, you gave up having any say
Accepted evil ideas – like no jab no pay
And you loved it how we took freedom of speech away
And we’ll abuse you more tomorrow than we did today
We’re the twisted bully in the playground
We’re pushing your face in the ground
making a sound!
We’re taking you down, to China town!!
Spoken:
Look at all we did to save your life. Now we all need to do our bit.
We need to reset with a new system, new currency, and new social contract.
And you need to give up owning property.
Also, the planets dying because of you, you use too much energy, and breathe too much.
Verse 3
We’ve told you straight – we want the population cut right down
Very simple and clear, no way to break it down
But if we say we’re concerned and replace smirks with frowns
You believe we want to save you – you just swallow it down
And if you bother to wonder about our beautiful vision
Think of the bloodstained history of communism
Individuals don’t count it’s all collectivism
But big tech will help us run this global death camp and prison
Chorus 3
Building back better
We’re just so close to our end goal
Perfect global human livestock control
We telling you you owe us your body and soul
Playing a broken slave, will be your final role.
For sin of being born, you will atone
There’s not a thing you’ll be allowed to own
You might survive a little longer if you lose your backbone
Building back, building back, building back, building back, building back Better!
